Life in the Pacific Northwest has been a whirlwind so far – in my last post I talked about putting an offer in on a house and how it was accepted, that I was wrapping up my job at a company where I had been for 4.5 years, and my hope for some relaxation time.
Between my old job and the new one, I had a lot of relaxation time and it was much needed! I slept for 8-9 hours almost every night and thoroughly enjoyed having my days open to do whatever I wanted. However, that time flew by very quickly and I was back to work again… at a new company. I just wrapped up my 4th week in my new role and I love it so far! It is great to feel so at home where you work – it is as if I am working with family.
Speaking of family, I have been living with my parents while I am waiting to get into the new house and while it has been great, I am very excited to say that the close date on the new house is tomorrow. However, I won’t move in right away so
I my mom and her friends can paint. While it will be nice to be in my own home, it will be helpful to not have to rush to move as soon as the close date arrives.
Even though the past two months have been a whirlwind, it has been a beautiful whirlwind. This is a crazy adventure and I am looking forward to what is up next!
Side note: My pup does not want to move into the new house – Baylie has been so spoiled living with the nice lady and the nice man:
